1. Introduction to Computer

Computer क्या है?
Computer एक electronic machine है जो data को input के रूप में लेता है, उसे process करता है और result output के रूप में देता है।

Definition:
Computer is an electronic device that accepts data, processes it, and produces meaningful information as output.

Calculator, Laptop, Desktop, ATM Machine

2. Characteristics of Computer

Computer की मुख्य विशेषताएं:

1. Speed – बहुत तेज़ काम करता है
2. Accuracy – सही result देता है
3. Storage – बहुत सारा data store कर सकता है
4. Automation – अपने आप काम कर सकता है
5. Multitasking – एक साथ कई काम कर सकता है

3. Basic Components of Computer

Computer के मुख्य भाग:

1. Input Unit

जिससे हम computer में data डालते हैं।

Examples:

• Keyboard
• Mouse
• Scanner
• Microphone
• Webcam

2. Processing Unit (CPU)

CPU को computer का Brain कहा जाता है।

CPU के तीन भाग होते हैं:

• CU (Control Unit) – सभी कार्यों को control करता है
• ALU (Arithmetic Logic Unit) – calculation और logical work करता है
• Registers – temporary data store करता है

3. Output Unit

Computer से result प्राप्त करने वाले device।

Examples:

• Monitor
• Printer
• Speaker
• Projector

Keyboard

Computer में typing करने के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है।

Mouse

Mouse pointer को control करता है।

6. Memory of Computer

Computer की memory दो प्रकार की होती है।

Primary Memory

Temporary memory

• RAM (Random Access Memory)
  Computer बंद होने पर data delete हो जाता है।
• ROM (Read Only Memory)
  Permanent memory

1. Analog Computer

Measurement के लिए उपयोग होते हैं।

Normal computer जो हम use करते हैं।

Analog + Digital का combination।

Computer को start करने की process को Booting कहते हैं।

1. Cold Booting – Power button से start करना
2. Warm Booting – Restart करना
